Biography:
Lord Beric Dondarrion was the Lord of Blackhaven and a skilled knight known for his bravery and charisma. Initially, he was sent by Eddard Stark to bring Ser Gregor Clegane to justice for raiding the Riverlands.
However, Dondarrion's party was ambushed and he was killed by Clegane. Resurrected by Thoros of Myr, a Red Priest, using the Lord of Light's power, Beric lost a piece of his memory with each resurrection, slowly forgetting who he was.
He became the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, a group of outlaws fighting for the common people and upholding justice in the Riverlands. He fought primarily for those who couldn't defend themselves.
Beric was repeatedly killed and resurrected a total of six times, each time sacrificing a piece of himself. In the end, he sacrificed himself permanently, using the last of his life force to resurrect Catelyn Stark, who then became Lady Stoneheart.
